“Cloud” Frog Mouse Handspun Alpaca

This beautiful handspun white/grey yarn is not completely even in thickness throughout the skein, this makes for a beautifully soft and interestingly textured fabric that is a pleasure to knit up.

All handspun yarns are completely produced by me, I receive the fleeces of some of these beautiful animals and hand pick, card, spin, and wash them. The result is this very special kind of yarn that makes for gorgeous projects.

• 100% Single Ply Alpaca
• Hand carded and spun in Groningen, NL
• Undyed natural colours
• 100g = 234 m
• Recommended needle sizes 2.5-3.5

The yarn is first picked and carded and then spun unwashed. After this, it receives a thorough soak and wash a couple of times before being dried and hanked up. Though the yarn is washed and picked, it nature makes it possible that it still contains some plant matter and sand, that might come out in the first few washes or blocking! This is completely normal and absolutely part of the charm of this special product.
