Stripey Spring Tee (ENGLISH PATTERN)

The Stripey Spring Tee is an entirely beginner-friendly crochet top.

The top is worked in a top-down raglan construction and uses only two stitches: Chains, and Double Crochet stitches.

The optional ribbing uses front post- and back post double crochet stitches.

The top is made to measure, this means that with a few simple calculations, you can make the top exactly to your preference in terms of fit. This means that anyone of any size can make it, this includes kids and more masculine frames as well.

Materials needed: 

• 3.5 mm crochet hook
• approximately 300g of sock weight yarn in 3  colours (around 100g of each colour)
  • The top is designed so that every stripe colour uses around 100g of yarn, this means that the top is perfect to make with that one special skein of hand-dyed yarn you have around, and it is easy to add some more commercial sock yarn for the other colours to keep the project budget friendly.
  • You could also choose to use scraps for this project and use as many colours as you have available!
